Somehow, much negativity has been sensed post-MLA within the community of BBSS. The secondary three students, having ended their honeymoon periods in their previous two years, are just starting to feel the realism of being an actual secondary school student laden with gargantuan academic load and minuscular leisure time. Over a short span of a few weeks, the decibel of voices spoken against workload has been astronomically going higher with hints of depression laden within those shouts.
However, life is really quite manageable. Humans, by nature, would want to remain in their comfort zones, refusing to step into the unknown. Sheltered for two years, they are now beginning to evolve into one pugnacious being, ready to reach the meridian of educational success, as recognized by a piece of paper. This piece of paper is life-transforming. It transforms not just the intellectual aspect, but also the mental and emotional aspects, for the attainment of this piece of paper requires a process of burning, hitting, and shaping before the quintessence of one's potential can be realized.
To ALL the secondary three students, whom have been my students: Hang on! You are only just embarking on a journey to success. Relax, if you need, but do fight off the wearied body and reach the end of the journey where happiness lies. Then again, there is already joy in your journey. It's there, waiting for your discovery.
