Luck

Over CNN Radio, I heard the following aphorism. 

Luck is the residue of design.

Indeed, luck is what is left over of a well-thought and well-executed plan. If work such as revision is well-planned, the rest can be apportioned to the uncontrollable element of luck. As students set targets today for their CA1, what was intended of this exercise was to help them strategize their battle-plan for attainment of academic excellence, hence mental strength.
